Winter trip
We offer you to visite the best skiing trails of different levels: easy, intermediate and advanced. The longest downhill slope is 10000ft (3000m) making it the longest downhill slope in the world. Ski center elevation: 7544ft (2300m). Average winter temperature: -5. Both professional skiers and amateurs will find an appropriate trail in order to test and enjoy their skiing capabilities. If you are not confident in your skiing capabilities you can choose gentle slopes while professional skiers can try steep slopes; some slopes have an angle of 53°. The ski center used to be a training station for professional skiers who were preparing for the Olympic skiing contests. The snow lies very deep from November till middle April 5-9ft (1.5-3m). If you are new to skiing or don’t get to practice skiing on a regular basis then our local instructors will teach you how to ski. It sounds like a real paradise for skiers because Mother Nature shares its best things with us: fresh and pure air, amazing scenery and unforgettable experiences that you are going to get while skiing down fantastic downhill slopes running through a coniferous forest.
The ski center is equipped with reliable and comfortable ski and chair lifts that will take you uphill within a short time so that you could save more time for your next breathtaking run. The rope is 1.32in (33.5mm) in diameter and complies with the Euro standards. The ski lift is 6560ft (2000m) long. The transportation speed is 8.2ft/s (2.5m/s). Transportation time: 13 minutes. If you don’t have skies or a snowboard you can always rent them in the ski center for a reasonable price.
A great variety of food and drinks of both National and European cuisine is offered in the ski center. By the way, they say that Kyrgyzstan is a treat for meat lovers and you’ll sure love authentic Asian meat dishes. On our part, we are going to do everything possible to make your stay in Central Asia memorable and pleasant.
There are two options available in terms of accommodation: ski lodgings or so called chalets in the vicinity of trails and guesthouses located at the foot of the mountains. Chalets are more expensive but give the opportunity of enjoying your trip right in the mountains without having to drive down to one of guesthouses everyday. Whilst the guesthouse is less expensive and is about 30 minute ride to the ski center. The ski center has 5 ski lifts, hotel, chalets, restaurant, billiard club, Russian Sauna, car stand and helipad.
The chalet can accommodate 8-10 people. The house is made of wood, which makes it very warm inside. All rooms are comfortable. The chalet has a bar, a bathroom and a big hall available at your disposal.
